Welcome Students & Enthusiasts!

This is a project website for a group who took a Mechatronics course (SEng 466) at the University of Victoria in Victoria, BC. We designed, built, and programmed a quadcopter using Solidworks, a MakerBot 3D printer, and a modified version of the AeroQuad software.

If you have any comments or questions, feel free to leave a comment on this post or anywhere else on this site.

Project 1 details a preliminary project not having to do with the quadcopter.

Project 2 explains most details about the mechanical design of the quadcopter frame.

Project 3 shows some modifications we made to the AeroQuad software and some demonstration videos of the copter flying.

Thanks for visiting!

Welcome to our SEng466 project site

You have reached the project website of Anderson Li, Chris Rennie, and Garrett Owen for SEng466 (Mechatronics) at the University of Victoria. This site will detail 3 projects over the term.  The first being a ball floating apparatus built using two Arduino boards, and the final two having to do with the design and construction of an autonomous quad copter.  Whoever you are, a future student, instructor, or mechatronics enthusiast, we hope you find this site informational and useful.
