Mechanical Design

The primary goal of the mechanical design was to create a quadcopter frame as light as possible, but still sturdy enough to withstand any falls encountered during testing.The copter parts themselves should be easy to manufacture and replace in case any of them accidentally breaks and to add modularity to the design. The vulnerable and expensive electronics such as the micro-controller, sensors, and motor controllers need to be well-protected in order to minimize the chance of them breaking in a fall.
